Cyclo Gearbox Theory of Operation:

Cycloidal gear boxes use the principle of cycloidal gear to provide a high transmission ratio (usually 100:1 or higher) with excellent torsional stiffness, good impact load capacity, stable clearance, and little wear over the life of the gear box.

Cycloidal gear box has a variety of designs, but its basic principle is that the input shaft eccentric mounted on the driving member or bearing, drive cycloidal disc eccentric motion. When the cycloid rotates, the convex Angle of the cycloid disk is like a tooth that engages with the pin on the fixed tooth ring. Cycloidal discs also have roller pins protruding through the disc, which are connected to the output disc and transmit motion to the output shaft.
