Cyclo Drive Reducer Characteristic:

◆ High-speed ratio and high-efficiency single-stage transmission can achieve a deceleration ratio of 1:87, and the efficiency is more than 90%. The deceleration ratio will be more significant if the multi-stage transmission is used.
◆Because the planetary transmission principle is adopted, the input shaft and output shaft are on the same axis line so that the machine model can get the smallest possible size.
◆The number of meshing teeth of cycloidal needle teeth with smooth running noise and low cycloidal noise is more, the overlap coefficient is larger, and the mechanism of balancing machine parts makes the vibration and voice limited to a minimum.
◆Reliable use and long service life because the main parts are made of high carbon chromium steel, high strength is obtained by quenching (HRC58-62), and rolling friction is used in some transmission contacts, so the service life is long.

The Cyclo Drive Gear Motor:

The key to the unmatched performance and reliability of the single-ring drive is that 67% of the decelerating components are always in contact, compared to gear designs that use only limited tooth contact. The “cycloid disk”, which is a single ring drive gear, has a unique smooth curve (ectoid parallel curve) that differs from the curvature of the typical involute gear.

A cycloidal drive uses an input shaft, an eccentric bearing, and two cycloidal disks that engage with a ring gear to produce reverse rotation at a reduced speed. The cycloidal disc is made up of teeth that are placed in a circular pattern around the perimeter of the ring gear housing.

The cycloidal drive is composed of five main components: an input shaft, an eccentric bearing, two cycloidal disks or cam followers, and a ring gear with pins and rollers. The eccentric bearing drives the cycloidal disc in an eccentric, cycloidal motion, which produces the teeth to engage with the ring gear to produce reverse rotation at a reducing speed.
